XP boot.ini file

Where is the boot.ini file located in WinXP, after upgrade its not in c: like it was with Win98, and if it's supposed to be in c: it's not. And when I check the boot loader in XP the boot area is blank, DOH !

Or you can edit the boot.ini this way. right click my computer----go to properties---go to the advanced tab----startup and recovery setting---then go to the edit key. this will allow you to edit the boot.ini

If ya want to be easy.
They took it out of win2k but put it back in XP. Can edit win.ini,system.ini, boot.ini,services, and startup programs.
