Hi Guys,

I have ANOTHER problem with windows (surprise surprise). When I installed windows XP home on a Dell, I got a boot problem. The install went fine and without a hitch. But when i go to boot up, the screen goes blank! It shows the Windows XP home screen and the little bar, but when it is supposed to go to the user logon screen, it just goes blank. any ideas?

You need to either list your machine specs of post a link to the model and motherboard.

The name/make/model of your video card may also be relevant, and a link to that would be helpful too.

Note XP needs 128MB RAM and doesn't like Creative Sound Blaster cards. (Try removing sound, network and modem cards to see if you can get it going).
