I seem to have somewhat of a serious problem here... XP won't boot anymore! it's been working fine for 4 months now, but just out of the blue it refuses to boot anymore.
I keep getting an error about a page fault in file partmgr.sys
I can't get XP to boot in anything but safe mode now. and I haven't been able to find a fix around the web yet. so I'm in trouble.
HELP!!
does anyone know how to correct this problem and get XP to boot again??

Reboot your pc while holding down F8. At the Windows Advanced Options Menu, select Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter.
If that does not work, run System Restore in Safe Mode.
Hope this helps. Bye

Also, go to www.teresaudio.com and get memtest86 (its free). It is a good memory diagnostic that will uncover memory problems missed by the check at boot time. You may have a ram problem.
