how do i make a boot disk for xp i put a new computer togther i need to boot it up i does tell me how..thanks

You can boot your new computer directly from the XP CD. You probably have to change your bios to boot first from CD. Otherwise, XP takes multiple diskettes. I am not sure where those can be downloaded from.

You need ntldr, bootit.ini,and ntdetect.

It will boot from the CD . If your bios wont do that then they can be found on the MS website
