Help! I made an XP boot diskette off the my computer menu. When I use it to boot up, it won't let me access the hard drive. "invalid drive specified". I am trying to flash the bios and the file is on the c drive . Thanks!

Unfortunately, it may vary depending on the BIOS and/or motherboard maker. Usually, the BIOS update is an executable that will unzip the contents, 2 or 3 files, to a floppy. One of the files will be a Readme that you should print and have on hand when you acutally flash the BIOS. Follow its instructions to the letter.
