Comment:

Hi i got xp build 2600 and eicon diva usb adsl modem. When i install the modem from my cd, there are no problems for days unitl suddenly i get blue screen of death saying that GWAUSB.SYS caused an error. Ctrl-alt-del does not work!

After restart xp says that it recovered from a serious error and everything works fine. But when i connect... BSOD again. Then i have to uninstall and reinstall and then it works for a couple of days again. I have made a search for files containing the string "gwausb.sys" and it came up with wwdslcfg.ini. the lines here are éxact the same as in 98 and 2k.

I cant get new 2k-drivers from eicon to work.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi!
I had your same problem.
You could try to install this recent release of Globespan driver here: http://www.archtek.com.tw/support/driver/adsl/ugw8000/ugw11100007q.zip
Good luck! :-)
