Upgrade advisor indicates an incompatability between my M/B and video card and will not install. I have the following, AMD 1.4 GH on a Giga-Byte M/B GA7-DXR, using Award bios. My video card is an Asus AGP-V3800 ultra using NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Ultra driver. This combo works fine under WinME. I've looked for Xp drivers and found them ,but cannot install under ME. I replaced the video card with a generic card using the Sis chip and had the same blocking issue,Any suggestions or help to get around this blocking issue would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer the dual operating system setup if possible Thanks

I have the same dammed problem with mine as well. I have a K62-450, ASUS P5A-B motherboard, and a Hercules 3D Prophet MX II. This combo works without a glitch on my system currently running Win. 98. I contacted ASUS about this and they suggested some driver upgrades which I did to no avail. I think I just purchased a very expensive coaster.

Same blocking issue here. Advisor reported blocking issue between video card and MOBO and would not let me upgrade from 98. Decided to to a clean install and all worked fine. Good Luck
