when i start up my laptop i get a blank screen (kinda dark greyish) right after the windows XP logo appears. it looks like it's loading correctly but when it should be going to the desktop, it stays frozen with the blank screen. there's no mouse cursor or anything.
then i power it off then back on, i choose safe mode and it works ok but i can't figure out what's causing me not to be able to boot normally. i've tried "last known configuration" and that doesn't work either, still blank screen.
i don't want to have to backup everything then reinstall windows if there's another way around. any ideas? thanks.
