Hi :-)
I am having the sma eproblem i think? One one XP machine i have, when you log in you get the wallpaper then it goes back to the logon screen after about a minute ish. On a nother i get a 40 second countdown after login, and it goes back to the logon screen again.
Could it have any relation to the blaster virus?
In repsonse to you original post, XP does automatically log off after the screen saver kick in i.e. if the machine is idle for a certain amount of time.
