i have an HP Pavilion XT938, which came with winblows XP.
Now, when i try to burn files to cd or copy a cd, my burning software(HP Veritas CD now) tells me the original differs from the copy. I was told microsoft integrated an anti-piracy measure that wont allow me to copy software onto a cd, but in the forums, noone else seems to have trouble burning with XP.

I am using XP Pro and have no problems at all when using Clone CD. Some burn programs have problems making an exact copy of some software, but Clone CD seems to manage it every time...!!

Get Goldenhawk CDRWin. It works using disc images an so doesn't try to interpret the files.

I've used the built in XP burning feature to copy disks, and it works fine. I was even able to use it to copy The Sims, and the copy worked great. Clone Cd is the best though.
