Xp and VNC log off

Well I dont really have a problem. I am using Xp and VNC, the thing is that if i press winkey + L, ie lock up xp so its starts only with the password, VNC is not accessible anymore. it actually seems obvious, but is there any way to get around it or is there another program that would work with xp locked up. bear in mind that i cannot leave a unlocked Pc because of several reasons
