I'm trying to use XP to get response headers from Web servers via telnet. I can't connect using either telnet.exe or command.exe under Windows XP. Anyone know what's wrong?

Drop the .exe part, for example- START>RUN> Type "command" (no quotes) Type "telnet" (no quotes) You should then get a promp that reads- Microsoft Telnet> Type "open" (no quotes) Now the Prompt reads- to> Put the address in and away you go :)
