Installed XP PRO and now have problems with printing. Download XP drivers but still have a problem when printing. The finished print page comes with unwanted white lines through the text and sometimes lines are over lapped. Tried almost everything. Lexmark knowledge base mentioned the ink cartridges need to be choosen in the properties box. Followed instructions but found it not possible to find needed buttons to pick cartridges. NEED SOME HELP!

lexmark yeah got one of them,you have to download the driver, unzip to a folder and then run, it will change the setup procedure a little, but it gives instructions, i think it goes like this, when the add new hardawre box pops up, click on "have disk" and go to the saved file, that should give you the right installation of the drivers, then you should get a pop up screen for the properties of the printer, and it asks you to install a new or used cartridge etc.just follow the instructions wish you it took me 3-4 attempts
