Hi. Not sure if anyone knows about Dell laptops...but Xp is only showing my CPU as 700 mhz, but I have a 1 ghz. Is it Xp or is there a setting in my BIOS? Is there away to tell how fast my CPU is actually running when Xp is booted? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with DELL laptops, but some Thinkpads (IBM) have a utility that adjusts the CPU speed depending on battery/ power availability
