my wife and I each have a computer in the house and a laptop each for work. How can we use the xp office for our 4 computers. We have a legal copy I bought this weekend.

Yes you need 4 CD keys to install 4 legal copies. So that means you need to purchase and additional 3 copies of office

You don't need the copies of the OS you need 3 more Lic. agreements. Contact Microsoft and talk them. You you purchase software you don't own it, you only own a Lic. Hmmm... i'm against all that represents more benefit than it needs to... if and only if you are going to have a lot of disscount for getting only the additional licenses...go for it...BUT...you are going to pay the same amount or just a tiny discount of let's say US$1.00...then go and buy the whole package...the CD AND the manuals...why would you let M$ get away with those...if they are going to charge you full amount...then you should receive full package...take care...

Thanks for the help Kevin. I will contact Microsoft. I was told today at work that each office cd is good for two to three machines so I only have to buy one more license.
