Would anyone happen to know how to fix this problem? Abit KX7-333 (not raid) with XP 2100, 256mb 2700 RAM. Won't run at anything but XP 1500 speed without causing blue screen Windows error (Windows has shut down due to unexpected error blah blah blah) and gives me a error code 0x0000000e or something similar. Checked one code through Windows KB, and says RAM may be bad. Switched ram stick to different ports and doesn't help. Also, oddly on certain ports, windows will give me differnt error codes and also will give a Non-area page fault or something like that. Anyone know what I might be able to do without buying new RAM?? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

check to ensure that you BIOS is to run 133 (266 FSB) Mhz, sounds like it's set to 100 (200 FSB).

Hey, thanks you guys for your advice. Unfortunately it didn't really solve the problem. One difference now though. Instead of going to a blue windows error screen, my computer simply restarts when I try to run it at it's proper speed. It still only starts up at 1500 speed. Few questions though. My processor speed is set to 133mhz, and thats what my bios says it's running at, but lightningstrike, what did you mean with the "(266 FSB)"? Also blablabla, (funny name by the way) I just double checked right now just to be absolutely positive, and yes my MB supports AMD Athlon XP's up to 2600 and even higher with bios updates. Plus the whole weird thing about it, is that when I first put together my computer, it ran at it's proper speed. It was just randomly one day that my computer froze and restarted itself that it refused to run at proper speed. Again thanks for any help you can give.

266 FSB is the total bandwidth of your front side bus (133x2=266), so you have it set correctly.
I don't understand what you mean, because the 2100 doesn't actually run at 2100, it tops out without o/clocking at around 1700.............

Yeah, I know. The 2100 runs at 1.73MHZ. My FSB is set to 133, but there is one thing in my bios that confuses me a little. In the area where I can configure the processor speed, there is something that says "Ratio - (FSB:AGP:PCI) - 4:2:1" and I can change those numbers, but I can't change the corresponding FSB number to anything lower than 3. Anyone know what's up with this ratio thing?
