This has been bugging me for a while, and I can't find any information on it anywhere, does anyone know what the C:\Program Files\xerox directory is there for? When I delete it it just recreates itself, which makes me wonder. I'm not worried, it's always there no matter how many times I reinstall windows, but I'm still curious. Thanks.

That Folder is installed with XP and is used by the Windows Image Acquisition service. You need that service and that folder if you have a camera or a scanner.

I imagine that nwwia - the Folder iside - stands for "network windows image acquisition".

I notice it is Read Only - which is probably why you can't Delete it but I would leave it alone anyway
