x64 random momentary hangs

Hello folks,

Been having a strange momentary lockup scenario with my recently-built unit.

Completely at random (sometimes more frequently then others), XP will hang - that is, the mouse will be rendered inoperable for about 5 seconds or so. Happens with both USB and PS2 mice, optical and trackball. XP may run for hours without the problem, or may repeat it off and on for 5 minutes straight.

To possibly narrow (or further confuse) the situation, I had run the unit for about a week with no problems on 1GB of PNY DDR2-667, then upgraded to the Corsair XMS2 mentioned above, upon when I had my first encounter with the problem.

Anyone have any insight? Unit runs fine regardless, and will keep stable for hours without any reboots if one does so with it.

Well, I've been working with it for three days now with little success - the hang is still present. Any ideas?
