my Outpost Firewall just popped up and said that www.computing.net (THIS SITE) just attacked my comp with a port scan. it said the ip was 216.235.147.35... i am so freakin confused what is happening??? it also says it scanned my TCP Port (2104, 2103, 2102, 2101, 2100, 2099) HELP ME! Buffalos dont have wings, chickens dont have fingers, fish dont have sticks... (then again, the males do!)

Hello, I'm not positive, but I think web servers sometimes try to make connections back to the clients trying to contact them. I wouldn't be too concerned about it, especially if it happened while using the site or immediately after using the site. Justin

I agree with Justin as to how this could happen. I have had experienced the same phenomenon several times in the past when I left the site. I traced it back through the firewall alert and discovered the cause. I'd just ignore it.
