wrong cpu speed on system propertie

i installed xp pro on this laptop it has a p2 366 processor in it but when i go to system properties it says pentium 2 which is right but says 91 mtz not 366 why is this ??? thanks

You need to go into the BIOS and set your FSB speed to the correct MHz.

Fossil????? I beg your pardon, LOL I have a Toshiba Tecra 520cdt. If it's as old as I'm guessing then you might not have the ability to make that adjustment on the FSB speed. Get Belarc Advisor or Aida32. These programs will give you the straigh up on your system. It may be that xp pro and your bios are not getting along. Just might have to live with a false echo of the FSB speed.
