OS: XP
CPU/Ram: 1.8/512
Comment:

I have 2 Computers, Nr1,Nr2. Nr1 has XP on it the Other Drive is blank. Would like to move the Content from Nr1 HDD to Nr2 HDD to make both Computers identical. I know you can't copy (ghost)the XP OS, but what if I would Install XP afterwards onto the Nr2 Drive? Just a Thought!. Thanks.

It would be better to install XP first then copy the content over...

you cannot make both computers identical. Xp reads the ID of all major componants and then issues an ID to the machine it is installed on.No two computers can have the same system ID unless you have some way to change all the serial #'s of all the various hardware that is installed.
Secondly what you are asking to do is illegal. And it should not even be allowed to be posted. You can not have the same M$ operating system licenses on two different computers.

Maybe I did not make myself clear. I only want to copy the Data I installed on Nr1 to Nr2,not the OS. I have a NEW Win XP CD to use on Nr2. This would be legal, wouldn't it?

in that case, yes it would work! But as Eddie mentioned it would be better to install the new OS first. You cannot install an OS in any place but the first part of the drive for it to work properly. By that... you cannot put lots of data then the os and have it work. By default the os has to be within the first 5mb of the disk, or it will not boot.
