Since I reinstalled windows on my computer, also had to reinstall my other programs. When I try and open word 2000, I get this error message: works cannot access one or more of the required files. the files may have been renamed, deleted or moved. Try reinstalling works, and then starting the program again. I have tried reinstalling multiple times but this has not helped. I also looked at this article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;279291 But I do not have a microsoft windows 98 CD rom, so I couldn't try to remove the damaged file as it instructed. If anyone could provide me with some help I'd be reallt greatful. Sabs :-)

Their should be instructions included on how to place it. If no just extract to the windows/system folder. Good luck, keep us posted.

I got the file and unzipped it, and the instructions said to put it in the windows system directory. I have 2 folders in WINDOWS-system and system32...which one do I put it in? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but last time I messed around with the system I ended up having the reboot the whole system.
