I have 2 computers connected to the internet through a router. Computer 1 is a desktop which is connected to the router using a LAN cable. Computer 2 is a laptop which is connected to the router using a wireless. Both computers can ping each other both ways. Both computers can get on the internet fine. Computer 2 can only view itself on the workgroup. Computer 1 can't see anything in the workgroup even itself. The workgroups are named the same and use simple and unique computer names... does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks!

You may need to share something on each computer. Not much sense in seeing another computer if you can't access anything from it.

Check firewall status on both machines. That is usually the source of problems such as yours.
