Word XP printing

Why is it that printing the same Word document on the same printer (Epson Stylus Color 777), Word 97 prints a lot better than Word XP??? On Word XP the images have white borders around it and the rest of the page is less defined than that printed on Word 97...
If there's anyway I can get Word XP to print like Word 97 did, please tell me.

seems to me win xp recognize you printer, thats reason you can use the printer,but you did not installed the right driver for win xp.that why not everything can be done the right way visit epson webside and download the the right driver for win xp. SUCCES, and hope it help roeljo
