Comment: There's this program that used to run just fine on Windows 98, now that I upgraded to XP it no longer runs. I get the message GDI FAILURE. It doesn't run on Windows 2000 either. Is it possible to get it to run on XP?

Reply: (edit)Windows 2000 & XP are both built around the same kernel. Have you checked the creators website? If it won't run on 2000 then it probably won't work either. If all else fails try compatibilty mode in XP and set it for 98.

Reply: (edit)THERES THIS THING IN WINDOWS XP CALLED COPATABILITY MODE. JUST RIGHT-CLICK ON THE PROGRAM YOU WANT TO RUN AND CHOOSE PROPERTIES. THEN IT GIVES YOU A CHOICE OF RUNNING IT IN WINDOWS 95, 98/ME, 2000 LAYERS...then it should work...=D
