There is a huge problem, there is something i must delete from the add and remove programs but when i click it it doesn't say add/remove on the tab, and when i used my add/remove program the item i wanted to delete didn't show, and i think it might be slowing my computer down. is there any other way or a program besides add/remove pro to delete this item.

malcolm, Which program are you trying to unistall? Look into that program folder and see if there's a unwise.exe or uninstall.exe file. If there is just double click it and it should start the uninstallation process.

Malcom, the Add/Remove in Control Panel is only a reference to the actual program. Basically its a shortcut to the uninstall file of each program you install. Deleting the reference in A/R does not uninstall the program. If you know the name of the program, then do a search on C drive (or whatever drive) for the program and see if it even exists. Did you go into the register and delete the reference from there?
