Reply: (edit)AVI files aren't simply one type of codec, there are dozens of different codecs used for AVI files. Go here and get GSpot. It will tell you which codec the AVI file is using. Then you need to install that type of codec to view the file.

Reply: (edit)You may need DivX codecs installed http://www.divx.com/divx/play/download/ Also TechSmith Screen Capture Codec is another good one to install http://techsmith.com/download/codecsdefault.asp?lid=CodecsHome PhilC
