I am currently using window XP, before i use to have a wallpaper and it allow me to change it, but now it has change to the background colour... and i cant seem to click on the background to change it to a wallpaper, and it wont let me select a picture and set it as a desktop wallpaper... please help me

aznchun, Start>settings>control panel>display>desktop. There you'll find the list of backgrounds available to choose from and you can add a custom picture if you wish. Simply select the one you want. HTH. Ed in Texas.

This may fix it. kellys-korner scroll down to line 142 and in the right-hand column, click on "Allow Background Wallpaper Changes"
