Hello all, I have XP PRO and my system won't go into stand-by, it will go to screensaver but it has stopped going into stand-by, all the settings are set to go to standby after 15 mins but it just doesn't go! It was working but it just stopped, it goes in when I press sleep as usual! Any ideas????
i seem to have the same problem. it didn't arise until i updated my device drivers. i have an ALi chipset and when i installed the latest ALi integrated drivers i lost the ability to go to standby. uninstalling fixed the problem. however, i reinstalled the drivers because this machine doesn't run constantly so i don't need to go to standby. anyway,
