I hope someone can help. System froze, so I shut down the unit via the main power button. Restarted a minute later, but no display on monitor, or any other sign (audible or viewable) of OS starting. Unit won't boot from Recovery/start-up discs, including floppy, even though disc drives seem to operate normally, and accessing the BIOS or Safe Mode is impossible. Power supply is operating normally, as power lights are lit. Keyboard keys not audible during or after attempted boot. HD activity light steady for a short while during attempted boot, then off, with no other activity seen or heard from the HD. All fans are working and connections secure. No new software installed or changes made to registry or system. Good luck, and thank you to all who attempt to assist me in my frustrating struggle to maintain my sanity with this thing. Desororw

It's a hardware problem. Disconnect all the drives and pull all the cards except the video card. If it acts the same, you have narrowed it down. You normally should get error beeps for RAM and/or video card problems.

Can u disconnect your hard drive, then try booting from your Windows Install CD or even an old Win 98 Boot disk. Let me know the results.
