WMV file into screensaver

Hi i have some WMV video files that i would like to use as a screensaver is there a way of doing this i found some programs on the net that let you make your own screensaver but there all trial versions is there another way of doing this?

Microsoft has a free screensaver that allows you to play videos of your choice, which might serve your purposes. Go here:

The file you want is powertoys_vss.exe it's about 400K and is free.

that program does not work with windows mediaplayer 10 it says i need Windows media player 9 i tryed to install it but it won't let me because i have a newer version
