WMP 10 with SAMI subs problem

if I play a video in WMP 10 using a SAMI file for Subs display and switch to fullscreen mode I can't control playback (the bar to move forward/backward is inactive). However, I can control playback also in fullscreen mode using a remote control. If I am not in fullscreen mode, everything is fine. Subs are displayed both in fullmode and in normal mode. It's just the playback controls that don't work in fullscreen mode. Anybody got an idea how to fix this?

Summary: sometimes there are issues that develope with the dvd decoder that is installed to run dvd's thru wmp 10. You might try to upgrade the decoders and see if that helps. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3...
