wmp 10 doesn't play mp3 anymore

I'm not sure what has happened, but windows media player 10 won't play my mp3s anymore. It used to ok, but now wmp tries to look for codec, but can't find one. I tried uninstalling wmp, then installing it again. But still the same. any idea how to fix it or find codec ?

Hi, Have you tried, open win mp / tools / options / file types / put a tick in mp3 then apply, see if that works.
