Is it suppose to run all time? I know what that process is, but it not used to run all the time. After i upgrated my Sygate firewall from 5.5 to 5.6, it is running continually.

Yes, by definition it should therefore run all the time. Its normal default is Automatic.

OK, my #1 was rather brief. Leaving aside Sygate it normally runs when required by the system, particulary when there are changes.

I can only assume that Sygate 5.6 demands more continuous tracking in order to better fulfill its function.

I don't think this is anything to worry about but by all means see what others think.

I checked Sygate debug.log and there was some mention about WMIHLP.

"WMIHLP: Constructor ... 248
07/01 11:48:14 DNSHLP: update DNS ServerList".

Those where logged, when i booted my computer.

Wait a sec... I remember you.

Anyways, Sygate is using WMI, so you have wmiprvse running. I think I said as much last time.
