What are you doing when you get this message? What "Properties" are you accessing?

Properties from WMI control. Went to PC Pitstop to test everything and got this message from them. Went and checked the properties on the WMI control and noticed the error.

Sounds like WMI is not running.

Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'services'

Scroll down the list til you find 'Windows Management Instrumentation', make sure it's 'STARTED', and set to 'AUTOMATIC'. Correct the settings if not.

Retry. Note any errors in the 'event viewer'.

Good luck,

J.
