Properties from WMI control. Went to PC Pitstop to test everything and got this message from them. Went and checked the properties on the WMI control and noticed the error.

Sounds like WMI is not running.
Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'services'
Scroll down the list til you find 'Windows Management Instrumentation', make sure it's 'STARTED', and set to 'AUTOMATIC'. Correct the settings if not.
Summary: i'll see the pop ups once in awhile talking about WMI error, but the one that pissed me off is when i can't get into my windows updates screen. help... thanks in advance ...
