Recently upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP. Don't know which happened first the erroe message WJView Error ERROR: Could not execute Main: The system cannot find the file specified. Or the fact that I cannot I can not view pictures I download from the internet.

Upgrading from an older OS to Win XP usually results in frequent error messages. A clean install of Windows XP is the preferred and best way to install Win XP. I believe most users will agree with this.

In my XP there are two files
jview.exe
wjview.exeboth are "Microsoft VM Command Line Interpreter"
XP was not made with JAVA in it.
To determine if you are running the Microsoft VM(Java), follow these steps:1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type:jview
and then press ENTER.
If you are not running the Microsoft VM, you
receive the following error message:
'jview' is not recognized as an internal or
external command, operable program or batch file.Search Results at M$ for JAVA:
