It's part of Windows.

Description: Command line utility tool from Microsoft Corporation to view window-based Java applications.

Try reinstalling Java?? if that doesn't work I'd say you have a corrupted/missing Windows system file, so try this........

Goto Start > Run, type:

SFC /SCANNOW

and hit enter, you will be asked for your Xp CD, this will scan and repair all system files.

I have SEARCHed my Windows folder for it.

wjview.exe

is a "Microsoft VM Command Line Interpreter"
What ever the F.. that is???

You do a SEARCH of your HDD for that file, and make sure it in the following folder:

C:\WINDOWS\system32

Maybe it is misplaced or delete.

Apparently it can be cured by the almighty Ad-aware (free from www.lavasoftusa.com).

According to others with the problem anyway, never tried it myself.

Download it, UPDATE IT, then run a scan of your registry and drives, REMOVE everything it finds.

I had the same error msg.
Yes the adware problem does seem to be a culprit. I suggest going to and applying the info at...
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/WJViewError.htm
-----------------
Removal:
First, use the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs to uninstall this adware. If this does not help,

Click [Start] [Run] Type [Regedit] and click OK.
Go to the location:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
In the right pane, delete the value called 'WebSavingsfromEbates'
Exit the registry editor and restart Windows.

Delete the following folders and subfolders:
C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates\
(Includes 3-4 subfolders)

In Internet Explorer, you will also see a right-click context-menu item named "WebSavings". Remove it using ToolbarCop.

-------------------
I didn't have the 'WebSavingsfromEbates' in the right pane, mine was a 'Limeshop' value. I deleted the 'Limeshop' value from the right pane, restarted and error message no longer comes up. :-) I think how the error initially came about is because I deleted the desktop 'shortcut' from the desktop and it's 'target' and still have the program Limewire, which Limeshop is linked to. In other words Limeshop could not be found by the mother program Limewire so it error messages. I suppose if I want to use the Limeshop tab in Limewire this error might start up again. But I don't know.

Anyways I'm definately going to get the Ad-Aware freebie program and hopefully it will stop this type of problem from reoccuring.

I've found the solution on a JAVA forum. I've tried it and it worked. Here's a copy of what it said :-

"I found the solution in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

There was an application listed that used wjview.exe command line. I had already removed the application, but this entry was still in the registry. Issue was resolved when I deleted the entry.

You may want to check this path or search your registry for a similar entry."

The application it refers to (for me, anyway) WAS Limewire, which I had deleted.

Hope this helps you, too
