I have bought a wireless keyboard and mosue combo recently. It is the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 700. I am wondering if anyone can give me an accurate review on this combo. I also seem to be having a slight problem. I don't know if i am being a bit too choosy but the mouse seems to be moving a bit too fast. I mean it practically zips across the screen at a light touch. Anyway to stop that or is that normal with the wireless mice. Could it be the battery?

Are you using the mouse on a shiny surface? If so, try it on something like a sheet of paper and see if that helps. That's info for an optical mouse Good Luck
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

First and obvious thing to try would be adjusting the mouse settings from control panel or its systray icon, if present
The 'shiney surface' theory doesn't seem very probable since that would cause the mouse motion to be erratic or slow, not "zippy"

I also have recently purchased the Microsoft Wireless Mouse/Keyboard 700 combo. All has been working well for the past few weeks until today when the mouse keeps freezing. I have changed the batteries but this has not helped. It is like the mouse is "sleeping" in order to save battery power and I need to click the mouse button or scroll to wake it up, however it freezes whilst I'm using it. I appreciate any ideas on what could be causing this?
