I am pretty computer savory. No genius but better than the next guy. I ran into many problems installing a network but nothing this message board couldnt help me thru. Now I am ready to move on and want to go wireless. How difficult is this problem and any problems I should be aware of before starting this task.
Thank you for any help

Simplest thing I have ever done. Can have it going in a snap of the fingers. Just use the quick guide that comes with the wireless router and go with it.

Piece of cake.; Like the doc says. When all else fails read the instruction sheet. Good luck Stewart
Bit of a wit....half to be precise.

Bullittt:
I strongly suggest you look over the security section thoroughly. In my own experience many people:
1. Do not change the default password to the router/access point.
2. Do not setup and use MAC address security. It may be called something different on the particular router/access point you buy. Basically you manually enter the network card's MAC address in the router for each device you own. Only those devices and access your router.
As a result of the later, I can move my laptop to different places in my apartment, get access to two different access points and "steal" their bandwidth.

True, the ones I set up were in the country and not a house around! Security not a problem! It still is a snap of the fingers though.
