Wireless network Tab?

Comment:
When I double click on the wireless icon on the bottom right next to the clock, nothing is being picked up. The router is configured right because I have another laptop that does pick it up, but this computer won't pick anything up. I go to network connections and go to properties of the wireless connection and there is no wireless connection tab under the wireless network connection properties. I only see general and advanced.

Some laptops have a physical switch that needs to be turned on to enable their built in wireless cards. Windows won't load the drivers or settings needed until it can detect the card.
