I has just purchased a dlink wireless router model 615 ver. c . The set up disk wouldn't automatically set up my semens dsl AT&T router. After talking to two dlink tech for about 2 hr. the second tech actually new what she was doing, She was able to guide me through the manual setup. The Tech explained that semems is difficult to set up with dlink wireless router. My only problem is, a year from now if I for some reason need to reset the router I will have no idea how to set it up manually. I was wondering if There is a way to back up my present router settings to a disk and later import them into the router If such an incident should happen. I wrote dlink but I don't think the email tech understood what I was asking him. Any feedback would be appreciated.

You won't need to reset anything unless you change which router you have connected or one of them malfunctions and needs to be replaced.

I have never seen such a feature as being able to import or export settings in the D-link or Siemens router configurations.
You should know by now how to access the configurations of the routers (e.g. 192.168.x.x) - just copy everything down that you see in those configurations!
