wireless connection says not connec

sometimes my wireless connection says not connected but i can still go on the internet and go on aim and such. however, at times it will randomly cut out and i have to reconnect. this is very annoying and has only been going on since i installed sp2. any ideas?

In Control pnl, Network connections,right click your connection, and repair. Try this first.

You have the same problem I was going to ask, when I leave my computer for a while when I come back it says local area not connected then as I touch my mouse and then it says local connection is now connected So I guess I am looking for the same help as you.

Look around (in the wireless card's properties) for a setting called 'power saving'.
Disable it.
