Wireless connected Browser won't display

April 16, 2010 at 12:27:21
Specs: Windows XP

My daugther's laptop seems to connect to the wireless network at home fine. Even when you test the connection it says fine no error. Show activity.
But when you open the browser it will not display page as if working off line. I have gone to options and tried many things but with the same results.

Do the following and post the results...

- Click Start and Select Run.
- Type CMD in the run box to get a terminal.
- In the terminal type IPCONFIG /ALL.
- Post the results, if you are having a hard time copying the text then try this command IPCONFIG /ALL > Ipconfig.txt which should make a text file in your documents.

This will tell me if you have a connection or not and what the IP address of your devices are so that I can give you further commands to try.

Thanks
