Hi, How can I make Win XP use the wireless channels 12 or 13.
I live in Europe and I can select channels 12 or 13 on my wireless router. Channels up to 11 are pretty crowded in my neighborhood, both 12 and 13 are as far I can see not used. On my Apple Powerbook I can use both channels without a problem and the speed improvement is great.
I have looked into new intel wireless drivers (they should be available for europe), but couldn't find anything.

Normaly XP find any wi ch up to 13
But as this is driver dependent, try to change settings in Controlpanel > systems > hardware:
Find your driver and open settings.

Thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion, but there is no way to change the number of channels it can see only what channel you want to connect to (which goes up to 11).
