It's as simple as this...I have a qwest dsl modem hooked up to my Mac. I have a pc about 20 feet away with a belkin wirless desktop card. It was picking up the dsl signal from my mac perfectly then I installed some software onto my pc with the belkin wireless, now it will not even detect any kind of signal so no internet on the pc. I have tried everything. I reinstalled the software to the belkin wireless card ( a few times ). I have checked the hardware to see if it is fit tight, removed it and replaced it a couple times. Unplugged the whole computer and let it sit unplugged for an hour, restarted. System restore ( which never helps anything anyways)....I know there is more but can't remember. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated, :}

Have you used the reset button on the Belkin device to reset it?

or go to the router's configuration screen and add the PC. Make sure you have the wireless network secured too so you don't share the bandwidth with your neighbors and so they don't hack into your PCs.
Bryan (In other words; it's time to read the manual.)

Does your MAC have a wireless router built into it? Because you don't mention a router, just the MAC and a Bel kin "Wireless desktop card".
