wiped drive, reinstalled XP Pro, no wireless

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP2, Pentium M 1.73 G, 504 MB RAM
I recently acquired a Sony laptop with XP installed, it was used and had a ton of extra crud on it so I wiped the drive clean (completely) and reinstalled XP Pro SP2. Now I can't get it to access the internet, detect the modem on my home wireless, no indication that it's even searching for a connection. The WLAN light is on and the 1394 Connection is 'connected' but nothing goes. Any help appreciated

You need to install the necessary drivers . Download them from Sony. Chipset, Audio, Graphics and network. Take everything applicable to that model.
