Try to imagine next problem.
One XP and One Win95 machine are communicating with each other (simple cross UTP cable). Data sharing is no problem from both sides since both use FAT files system.

But as i recently installed IIS on the XP machine, i am begining to fear for the machines data security. Problem is, you can have additional security with NTFS. But then again, the Win95 PC wont be able to see the XP machines data.

Maybe I have to install some drivers for the Win95 machine?

The windows 95 PC will be able to acces the files over the network if the file system is NTFS. Thats what file and print sharing is for.
