Comment: HI:A Friend OF mine Currently Running Win 98SE anyhow he Formated his 30Gig HDD with a Win 98 Boot disk & He Went to the Bios Boot Sequence (CDROM,C,A)To make the Computer Boot OFF The CD-Rom To Install WinXP Pro ,Unfortunately his Computer Won,t Start Off the CD-Rom Just Stop @ the C:\ Prompt We have Tried Everything with no joy any idea what is going on & how we can make WinXP Install Thanks in advance.

Reply: (edit)at command promt type ..cd "cd drive letter then cd i386 then winnt32 this should run the install straight out of where it is on the cd ok hope this helps okie
