Comment: Well I too am having the same problem as some people here. Ive read other post but dont see anything about maybe being underpowered. I try to boot up windows and most of the time it freezes at startup where the little blue progress bar appears. Then I have to restart and it ask me to start up normal, safe mode, best last know configuration, etc. Specs are: DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra B amd 2500+ xp oc'ed to 3000+ 1 gig of pc3200 hyper x Radeon 9700 pro 128mb Windows XP SP1 PSU 350 watts could it be that my stuff is underpowered?

Reply: (edit)Usually when Windows XP "hangs" upon booting it is the data on the disk is corrupt or unreadable, device drivers can't load, or your profile is messed up. Try booting into Safe Mode. Your system may be alittle overpowered - depends on waht amperage is supplied in 3, 5 & 12 volt rails on your PSU. Here is a good PSU calculator with break down by voltage rails:

Reply: (edit)Well, i have reformatted and after like 2 days it happens again. Could it be that my hard drive is bad, after like 2 months of usage, or that my windows installation disk could be currupted somehow?
