WinXP with HP720c not printing colour

Comment:
I have recently upgraded from Win98 to WinXP and everything I now print to my HP Deskjet 720C comes out in a shade of blue, whereas under 98 it was fine - I've even changed the colour catridge in case. Anyone suffered the same problem or any ideas.

Did you install the latest driver for that printer?

I installed the driver provided with WinXP - the HP web site does not offer any updated drivers for XP.
On printing a test page it is not printing yellow. Looking at the printer profiles it has a sRGB color profile.

Are you sure you did check with HP's website? I just checked and there is a driver for XP!!! And if there is not, try the one for Win2000 since it should be similar or compatible...

Run all the tests in the printer software, for example alignment etc. and get to properties and choose colour as the default
